What problem does this solve?

Currently, the Windup Protection setting limits the Integral to 100%. Please add the option to specify a limit for the Integral.

Proposed solution

For example, I need the Integral not to exceed 30%. On slow systems, such as ventilation, the Integral constantly spikes to 100% and then doesn’t drop for a very long time.

This isn't something the integration can configure: the anti-windup clamp lives in the simple-pid library itself. It clamps the integral to output_limits.

There is no separate integral limit in the library's API — no constructor argument and no property — so "limit the integral to 30%" has no setting to map onto. The Windup Protection switch only decides whether those output limits are applied at all.

A dedicated integral limit would have to come from simple-pid upstream (https://github.com/m-lundberg/simple-pid).
