…ernels The memory layout merges an identity alias with its canonical address, but later analyses still keyed state by address name. With lane partitioning the canonical Store and the alias Load live in different units, which exposed two bugs: - Dead-store elimination saw no Load of the canonical address and removed its Store, so readers through the alias kept a stale value. - A lane task merging both units could schedule the alias Load above the canonical Store and read the previous cycle's value. Accesses through a merged alias now name the canonical address once the layout is final, and dead-store elimination decides liveness per shared home. Heliodor SMP Linux boots with 4 and 8 threads now reach shutdown with the same final state as single-threaded simulation.
