What this changes

Links the Chainguard Libraries for Go demo repository from the Go library docs, matching how every other ecosystem (Java, JavaScript, Python, .NET) references its demo repo.

Three links, all using the established cross-ecosystem phrasing:

  • go/migration.md — a "follow along with a ready-made project" paragraph after the intro, pointing to the repo and describing the go-bank app and tools/ directory.
  • go/migration.md — a pointer to the tools/ directory for example configuration and chainctl commands, in the Repository manager tab of Step 2.
  • go/build-configuration.md — a "larger, ready-made example" pointer to the go-bank application at the end of the Minimal example project section.

Scope is deliberately limited to the Go docs. The GA-only on-ramp pages (get-started/libraries-examples, introduction/overview, quickstart) were left untouched, since Go is still in beta.

Test plan

  1. Check out the branch and build the site locally:
    npm ci
    npm run dev
  2. Visit Chainguard Libraries → Go → Migrate to Chainguard and confirm:
    • The "follow along with a ready-made project" link after the intro resolves to https://github.com/chainguard-demo/chainguard-libraries-go.
    • In Step 2, the Repository manager tab shows the tools directory link, resolving to .../tree/main/tools.
  3. Visit Chainguard Libraries → Go → Configure build tools and confirm the "larger, ready-made example" link at the end of Minimal example project resolves to the demo repo.
  4. Confirm each link opens a live page (repo root and tools/ directory both exist).
  5. Confirm no changes appear on the GA on-ramp pages (get-started/libraries-examples, introduction/overview, quickstart).

Created in collaboration with Claude Code running Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) on 2026-10-21.

Add references to the Chainguard Libraries for Go demo repository
(chainguard-demo/chainguard-libraries-go) from the Go migration and
build-configuration pages, matching how every other ecosystem links its
demo repo. The migration guide now points readers to a ready-made project
and to the tools directory for repository-manager configuration, and the
build-configuration page points to the go-bank application as a larger
example.
