Description
Typing or deleting in the middle of a phone number in Mosaic's
PhoneInputno longer jumps the caret to the end when the number reformats.useFormattedInputinsrc/primitives/hooks/, based on the approach in rifm. It takes{ value, onChange, format, accept }and returns{ value, onChange }for the input. After each reformat it puts the caret back after the same accepted character, and Delete steps forward over separators.PhoneInputuses the hook and formats with its ownphone-input.format.ts, so@clerk/sharedis unchanged.countrythat shares a calling code (e.g. Canada with+1) no longer switches to the US while the user types.+number behaves exactly as before.
