createBrowserTools and createBrowserRuntime are deprecated along with @cloudflare/codemode, which they run on. The browse-the-web guide shows the replacement for a Computer Workspace: the ws:browser module from @cloudflare/computer/modules/browser, given the agent's own Browser. The direct tools (browserTool and the Quick Actions) stay as they are.

browserTool is now createBrowserCDPTool and createQuickActionTools is now createBrowserQuickActionTools, so each browser tool's name says what it does. The old names stay as deprecated aliases, and a type test checks they match the new ones. Docs, examples and Think's tools/browser re-export use the new names.

browserTool is renamed to createBrowserTool rather than createBrowserCDPTool, with browserTool kept as a deprecated alias. Quick Actions are deprecated instead of renamed: createQuickActionTools, runQuickAction and the browserMarkdown-style helpers keep their names and code, with @deprecated pointing at createBrowserTool, web_fetch, or the binding's quickAction(). The guide and the example's README say so.

This ships before @cloudflare/codemode is deprecated and before @cloudflare/computer has a ws:browser module, so the deprecation messages no longer say codemode is deprecated or point at createBrowserModule, and the Computer section of the guide moves to the follow-up that adds browser.session(), which the module needs.

… Quick Actions (#2666) * feat(browser): deprecate createBrowserTools, createBrowserRuntime and Quick Actions Point users at browserTool from agents/browser/ai-sdk, tanstack-ai or pi. The Quick Action helpers keep working but won't change. Pausing a run while a person works in Live View has no replacement yet, so the docs say to keep using createBrowserTools for that. Ported from #2610.
