Code Orange Dev School - Impact Reporting

This repository holds the template Code Orange uses for impact reports.

Where the numbers are

• Pull requests by community members: the PR Tracking Dashboard. Every PR is linked and checked against GitHub weekly by CI. It is the only place Code Orange publishes PR totals.
• Programs and curriculum: the curriculum repo.

Earlier reports (April, Q2 and July 2026) were withdrawn in September 2026 because several of their figures and stories could not be verified from public sources. They remain in this repository's git history.

Rules for any report

1. Every number links to evidence a reader can check: a PR, the dashboard, a public calendar entry, a published attendance list. If it can't be linked, it isn't published.
2. No projections presented as results, and no "first", "largest", "leading" or similar claims without a source.
3. People's work is theirs. Name contributors only for linked work, and describe it as their contribution, not as a Code Orange outcome.
4. Don't copy totals from the dashboard into other documents. Link to it instead, so numbers can't go stale in two places.
