Fixes the landing page returning 500 FUNCTION_INVOCATION_FAILED since the Nuxt 4.6 upgrade (#55), and adds CI checks so this class of bug fails directly in CI.

Fix

  • Nuxt 4.6 hands Nitro absolute paths for SSR imports from layer components (fix(vite): resolve bare ssr externals from their importer nuxt/nuxt#36309).
  • Nitro couldn't map a file back to comark's ./plugins/* pattern export, so it bundled comark/plugins/rangi, whose ../utils/index.js import was then emitted as a broken path.
  • Replaces the nitrojs/nitro#4651 pkg.pr.new override with registry nitropack@2.13.4 plus one patch: #4651 itself, and the externals fix (to be upstreamed to Nitro v2). Each patched block is tagged [comark-docs patch].

CI

  • New e2e Vitest project that boots the built playground and crawls it: every sitemap page and its OG image, plus the agent routes.
  • Checks that every import in the server bundle resolves inside .output/server, which covers lazy chunks no route loads.
  • Runs after pnpm build, with content pinned to the commit under test.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code, reviewed by @larbish before opening.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Bug Fixes

    • Improved deployment routing behavior for header-only and redirect routes, and improved resolution of bundled package imports.
  • Tests

    • Added end-to-end checks for page responses, sitemap routes, Open Graph images, markdown responses, and bundled server imports.
    • Separated unit and end-to-end tests; CI now runs end-to-end tests after the build.

Problem: `if (ogImage)` lets a page without an OG tag pass. `it.each(pages)` skips both image checks when a docs page has no `og:image`, so the test passes even though that page calls `defineOgImage`.

📝 Walkthrough

The change patches Nitro route generation and package-export resolution. It adds a Vitest end-to-end project that starts the built playground server and checks its bundled imports and routes. CI runs the end-to-end tests after the build.

Changes: Build and end-to-end validation

Layer / File(s) Summary
Nitro route and export resolution changes
patches/nitropack@2.13.4.patch, pnpm-workspace.yaml
The Nitro patch emits header-only Vercel routes separately from redirects and adds matching for pattern exports during external resolution. The workspace applies the patch to nitropack@2.13.4.
Vitest end-to-end project and server setup
vitest.config.ts, package.json, test/e2e/setup.ts
Vitest separates unit and end-to-end projects. End-to-end setup starts the built playground server, waits for /robots.txt, provides baseURL, and returns a cleanup function.
End-to-end checks and CI execution
test/e2e/*, .github/workflows/ci.yml
The tests check bundled imports, sitemap pages, Open Graph images, agent routes, and markdown responses. CI runs the end-to-end project after the build with GitHub token and branch environment values.

Use the merge SHA for the e2e content ref.

NUXT_DOCS_GITHUB_BRANCH uses the fork-only head SHA. On a fresh e2e server, withSnapshot rejects the build artifact because its stamped ref differs from that SHA. The empty in-memory cache has no persisted manifest, so initialization falls back to the GitHub origin at the fork SHA. That ref may not exist in the base content repository, causing sitemap and page requests to fail.

Use github.sha, which identifies the pull-request merge revision checked out by the workflow.
