💡 What: Replaced sequential add() calls inside a loop with bulk add_many() calls for DocumentChunkRecord and DocumentArtifactRecord insertions in ParsePersistenceService. Added inline comments explaining the optimizations in packages/db/src/cortex_db/repositories.py.
🎯 Why: Iterating with uow.document_chunks.add() and uow.document_artifacts.add() inside loops triggers an N+1 query problem by doing session.flush() and session.refresh() per-record, significantly slowing down insertion performance.
📊 Impact: Considerably faster document ingestion processing by batching models and executing a single session.add_all() and session.flush() for all document chunks/artifacts, minimizing roundtrips to the DB.
🔬 Measurement: Verify tests still pass with uv run --all-packages --group test pytest tests, and observe reduced query logging during large file ingestion.
