Problem
The subject page expands the transcript of the newest run on load: useState(newest || selected) in frontend/src/pages/SubjectPage.tsx. For an engineer who watches a build, that is the right default. For an operator who is not technical, the page then opens on a wall of tool calls and JSON below the artifact and the gate.
An app can declare its own page for those operators, but the platform page stays one click away (subject links, Activity), and its first screen should read for both audiences.
Expected
The transcript starts collapsed, and the ▸ transcript toggle opens it. The artifact, the gate, and the run status keep their place at the top. If engineers want the old behavior, a per-account preference or a query flag can restore it.
