Codex Desktop testers report that the post-upload file preview remains stuck loading. Temporarily disable automatic file_preview calls in the upload skill: successful uploads report the created file's path and filename without starting a preview.
The upload skill is shared by Desktop and CLI, so this mitigation applies to both. Restore automatic previews after the underlying issue is fixed and verified in LIFE-7604: https://dropbox.atlassian.net/browse/LIFE-7604
Validation: python3 mcp_host_skills_tests.py (8 passed), python3 package_validation_tests.py (7 passed), and git diff --check. Desktop behavior has not been rerun.
