Possibility to add features: Loading all data files in a folder, especially for Bladed output files

As for bladed output files, there may be a lot of them, such as "powprod.%04"~"powprod.%150", and ""powprod.ME" and so on. I am wondering if it is possible to add such a feature: Loading all data files in a folder, especially for Bladed output files. And classify them according to the folders' names (I mean to avoid confusion between powprod.%4 in Fodler1 and powprod.%4 of Folder2)

That sounds doable. I'm not fully familiar with Bladed outputs. If you can send me a minimal example of the directory and file structure that you have in mind that might help me.
I'm also mentioning @SimonHH who has worked with the BladedFile class and might have ideas / feedback.

As a first pass, you can try to write a function that reads a given folder, and returns one dataframe or a dictionary of dataframes with the keys of the dictionary being the names that you want. Your function should ideally0 rely on the BladedFile class provided in pydatview.io.bladed_file. Then we can work on adding the option to open a folder in pyDatView.

I am not quite sure if I fully understand your question and sorry for not coming back to you earlier.

I created the setup you describe with one bladed time series per folder with the filenames always being powprod.* and the folder names being the "real" time series names.
When you load the time series by drag and drop of the *.$PJ files into pydatview the time series will be loaded. My tool of choice to grab all of the files at once would be TotalCommander with the Crtl + B command to show all files in a folder structure or setup a search for all *.$PJ files.

When you now deactivate "Naming: by file name" in pydatview you should have each time series with the unique part of the corresponding path of the *.$PJ file displayed on the left and also in the plots.

An alternative (that I would recommend) is to simply name the bladed files as you want to have them in the first place and have the files all in one folder. To my experience having separate folders for each time series creates tedious problems in a lot of places in tool chains.
