docs: revise AI acknowledgment options in templates - #617
The AI acknowledgment checklists in five issue templates now separate AI use for translation, codebase understanding, and reviewed report content. The existing no-AI option remains.
Changes: Issue Template AI Acknowledgments
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Update AI acknowledgment options .github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/bug-report.yml, .github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/change.yml, .github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/docs.yml, .github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/new-rule.yml, .github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/rule-change.yml
The templates retain the no-AI option and add separate options for AI-assisted translation, codebase understanding, and reviewed AI-generated report content. The previous conditional review acknowledgment is removed. The change template says “Check all that apply.”
The templates improve AI-use reporting, but reporters submitting unreviewed generated content cannot disclose that through the combined checkbox. This is a bounded triage concern; separating disclosure from review would address it.

- Line 98: Update the issue-report template’s generated-content checkbox so it
independently discloses AI-generated content, and add a separate acknowledgment
for whether the reporter reviewed that content. Ensure reporters can disclose
unreviewed AI-generated translations without claiming they reviewed them.
