Backend engineer — Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems.
I work on the server side of things: API design, data modelling, and keeping services fast and predictable under load. I care most about code that's still easy to reason about six months after it ships.

- Service design — decomposing monoliths, drawing sensible service boundaries, and wiring them up with Spring Cloud, Eureka, and an API Gateway.
- APIs — REST first, with gRPC and GraphQL where the call pattern justifies them. Documented with OpenAPI so consumers never have to ask me how the contract works.
- Data layer — relational modelling in PostgreSQL and MySQL, Hibernate tuning, and knowing when not to reach for an ORM.
- Testing — JUnit and Mockito as a default habit, not a cleanup phase.
- spring security - configuring fine-grained, stateless authentication and authorization using Spring Security with JWT/OAuth2 (Resource Server & Authorization Server patterns), custom security filters, and RBAC/ABAC models.

Going deeper on distributed systems — consistency models, failure modes, and the design trade-offs that only show up at scale. Open to backend engineering roles and to collaborating on anything interesting in the Java ecosystem
