Some highlights of this release include

  • The alpha version of the src/thermal code
  • support for complex matrix inversion in dg::PCG and dg::MultgridCG2d
  • a bunch of performance improvements
  • improved support for integer and complex vectors in dg::blas1 functions
  • New optimisation module in the matrix backend

we do not use true adjoint discretization any more
The first milestone will be a working calibration run
it can reuse tridiagonalisation now
undocumented, uncleaned unsorted
Make reading simple data a bit more convenient
to allow the user to use all netcdf open mode flags which we just
forward to nc_open / nc_create
such that all flags are just forwarded to nc_open / nc_create
Best thing not to hide options of the original library from the user
The reason is that non-NetCDF4 files need the enddef and redef
meachanism which we do not implement. The only meaningful flag we do not
catch is the "forced netCDF-3" layout of a netCDF-4 file; but "just
don't use groups or custom data types" should also solve that problem
including tests in functors_t
before we start messing with it
in preparation of Stellarator fields
and implementation of all magnetic functors in terms of its components.
Our solution is that TokamakMagneticField converts to MagneticField

Next we can construct a Stellarator magnetic field
now Horner can gives its own derivative
and add a bit more involved test
This reverts commit 9f66091.
And walk back to 086ed35
If anything, only used in the stellarator branch
in the shift function an error was introduced
