Provider semantic declarations could describe bounded strings and records but could not declare bounded byte identifiers or payloads. Add coreBytesAlias with explicit unsigned minBytes and maxBytes, admit these as bounded record leaves, and emit canonical Edict Core byte definitions in lawpack exports. Inverted ranges, malformed fields, recursive records, and claims to Core-owned identities refuse before generation.

Refresh schema, provenance, package assets, digest pins, and the generated helper together. A direct schema-identity regression exposed a stale hash in the helper template; both the template and its generated fixture now bind the current schema. Two independent designated Linux builds at source 48ff4f4 produced identical 485,983-byte lowerers with SHA-256 cd81874f971f290f74987b39479ef89ddb5060e56df54044d2359e6e89b2430c. The repository audit/promote command installed those bytes. Both verifier candidates match the existing checked verifier. The resulting provider package is sha256:36ce20c612c8c46bbe450c93e6fb2235f38e4ec2b14f04f128eee91805cdb26a.

Validation: 91 related generator/package tests, 45 lowerer tests and 36 promotion tests passed. The explicit helper-regeneration test is ignored in the ordinary lowerer suite and was run separately. Strict changed-test Clippy and all-target xtask Clippy pass. Artifact, package, embedded-asset, formatting and diff checks pass. RED witnesses cover the unknown byte shape, inverted bounds and stale helper schema identity. All 44 final-head checks passed, including actual-host validation and the repeated independent-build comparison. The host witness passed 51 tests across five suites, with three ignored tests. The schema/component finding is fixed and its review thread is resolved. CodeRabbit reviewed source through 48ff4f4 and explicitly reports that included reviews are exhausted for the final publication revision; no final-head CodeRabbit approval is claimed.

The current type model is extended in place. Catalog-to-export nominal identity checks remain enforced. Byte-valued Rust helper codecs and genuine graph-effect compilation/execution are outside this PR; the latter remains unfinished in #921. Updated the owning type-declaration section in docs/topics/GeneratedRules.md, component identity READMEs and changelog.

📝 Walkthrough

Provider semantic declarations now support bounded Core byte aliases. The generator validates byte bounds and alias shape, includes aliases in bounded record graphs, and emits canonical Lawpack type coordinates. Tests cover malformed bounds, recursive records, and Core identity claims. Provider schema and package digests are updated.

Changes: Provider Core byte aliases

Layer / File(s) Summary
Byte-alias contract and validation
crates/echo-wesley-gen/src/provider_artifacts.rs, crates/echo-wesley-gen/src/provider_semantics.rs
The generated-artifact schema accepts byte aliases with unsigned bounds. The semantic model validates bound order and includes byte aliases as bounded base types.
Canonical export and semantic tests
crates/echo-wesley-gen/src/provider_semantics.rs, crates/echo-wesley-gen/tests/provider_byte_types.rs, docs/topics/GeneratedRules.md, CHANGELOG.md
Byte aliases map to canonical Core Bytes coordinates. Integration tests cover generated definitions and invalid declarations. The docs and changelog describe supported byte-alias declarations and refusal cases.
Generated schema and package digest refresh

Provider schema, package, generated-artifact, and provenance digests are updated. Lowerer and package tests check the refreshed digest values.

@coderabbitai full review

The schema change exposed a publication dependency: generated Rust helpers embed the provider schema hash. The source template and generated helper now bind the current schema, with a direct RED/GREEN identity regression. Please review bounds admission, canonical alias exports, and schema/helper identity. Reproducible component promotion and final package refresh remain pending, so this stays draft.

@coderabbitai review

The component publication fix is now complete at 9bad13b: two independent designated builds matched, the audit/promote command installed the lowerer, and package manifests/assets/pins were regenerated and validated together. Please review the published correction. The PR is ready for review; actual-host CI and the final independent-build comparison remain merge gates.
