Summary
Adds
gdzig-zlint(ZLint 0.10.0 with the gdzigCODE_STYLErules) and wires itinto mise and CI. Follow-up to gdzig/gdzig#290.
github:gdzig/gdzig-zlint0.6.1 throughmise.toml.zlint.jsonunchanged from the 0.6.1 template. The gdzig rules,gdzig-public-docs, andline-lengthretain their templatewarnlevels;homeless-tryretains itserrorlevel.mise run lintand a Lint workflow alongside the existing Tests workflow.--fixmade no changes.Verification
gdzig-zlint .: 0 errors, 9 warnings (before: 0 errors, 9 warnings).mise run lint: passes with the same 0 errors and 9 warnings.zig build testusing Zig 0.14.1: passes; the baseline onmainpassed too.zig fmt --check .: passes before and after; no Zig source files changed.line-lengthwarnings insrc/oopz.zigon longcompile-error messages and expressions, plus one
gdzig-public-docswarningon
build.zig's publicbuildfunction. They were left to avoid unrelatedmessage/logic restructuring or inventing documentation for this lint-only rollout.
Notes
--deny-warningsis intentionally not enabled yet because the existingdocumentation and line length diagnostics still need cleanup.
Pre-existing CI failures
The
Testsworkflow'smastermatrix and thebuild-docsjob fail on this branch.Neither is caused by this change: the diff only adds
mise.toml,zlint.json, and.github/workflows/lint.yml, and touches no Zig source. The failure is the newambiguous-operator error in
src/oopz.zig:177, reported by Zig master0.18.0-dev.567:mainlast ran CI on 2026-09-23 with a Zig master that did not yet report thisdiagnostic. Reproduced locally on an unmodified
maincheckout with the samezig 0.18.0-dev.567+7f0281900binary:zig build testandzig build docs --release=fastboth fail with the identical error. The newgdzig-zlintjob passes.
