Every culvert quality run printed 59 ty diagnostics, all unresolved imports of pytest and cryptography. The dev tools sat in an optional extra, and uv run never installs extras, so ty looked at an env without them.

  • dev moves from [project.optional-dependencies] to [dependency-groups]. uv syncs the group by default, and ty check now reports nothing.
  • tests/run-unit.sh asks for --group dev. CI's test stage already runs with --all-extras plus the default group, so it is unaffected. 621 unit tests pass locally.
  • profiles/edge-fleet.yaml dropped its 2-8 replica and sticky-LB comments. The contract marks culvert a singleton and the chart runs one replica.
  • docker-compose.yaml marks the :latest default as accepted for the quick-start path, with the digest pin a deployment should set.

No release: image, contract and runtime behaviour are unchanged.

Done when CI is green on this head.

Dev tools move from the dev extra to a dependency group. uv syncs a group by default, so ty under `uv run --with ty` now resolves pytest and cryptography and reports nothing, where it raised 59 unresolved-import diagnostics on every run. tests/run-unit.sh asks for the group.

The edge-fleet profile no longer claims 2-8 replicas or a sticky load balancer: the contract marks culvert a singleton. The compose file's :latest default is marked as accepted for the quick-start path only.
