Summary

Adds .github/dependabot.yml so the bumps done by hand in #49 (Go modules, Docker base images, GitHub Actions) are proposed automatically.

  • gomod: weekly. golang.org/x/* grouped, other minor/patch grouped, majors ignored (go-ethereum fork, handled when rebasing on upstream). Security updates grouped for golang.org/x/* and google.golang.org/*, as upstream does. PR limit 3.
  • docker: weekly. Dockerfile and Dockerfile.alltools grouped. golang minor/major ignored, since a new Go minor needs a go.mod and CI change in the same PR. Patch bumps still come through.
  • github-actions: weekly, grouped. Scans / and /.github/actions/**/* so the nested composite actions are covered.
  • pip: monthly, cmd/clef only (tinyrpc).
  • All entries use cooldown: default-days: 3.
  • A multi-ecosystem-groups block that would merge every update into one PR is included but commented out.

Not covered by Dependabot

  • The go directive in go.mod
  • go-version: 1.26.x in setup-go steps
  • The golangci-lint version default in .github/actions/cache/golangci-lint/action.yml

Weekly version updates for the ecosystems bumped by hand in #49:
- gomod: golang.org/x/* grouped, other minor/patch grouped, majors
ignored (go-ethereum fork); security updates grouped by module family
- docker: Dockerfile and Dockerfile.alltools base images grouped; golang
minor/major ignored since a new Go minor needs a go.mod and CI change
- github-actions: workflows plus nested composite actions
- pip: cmd/clef requirements, monthly

All entries use a 3 day cooldown. A multi-ecosystem group that would
merge every update into one PR is included commented out.
