"My PhD maps how far-right actors are portrayed across hegemonic media in Brazil, the United States, Colombia, and the United Kingdom — and how those representations connect to the escalation of violent manifestations within the far-right spectrum."

This project extends my Master's dissertation (UFBA, 2024) — "Resgatar bons valores, ideias e sentimentos no coração dos brasileiros: o Brasil Paralelo e seu projeto de contrarrevolução cultural" — which investigated the cultural counter-revolutionary strategies of Brasil Paralelo through its audiovisual productions. That work provided the foundation for understanding how right-wing actors build symbolic hegemony; now expanded into a comparative, cross-national analysis.
