Feature request: The ability to freeze the first N rows of the spreadsheet; ideally, this setting could be remembered for the specific file. #79

Description

@wenqvip

Hello!

Currently, for our CSV files, the first three rows are all headers, but we can only freeze the first row, and we have to redo this setting each time the file is reopened. It would be extremely useful if we could select the first three rows (or the first N rows) in the view and freeze them!

Hope you can take this into consideration. Thank you!

    And freeze the first column.

    Your three-row header example helps explain why the current behavior isn’t enough. #117 proposes remembered choices for frozen rows and columns, including @CaptBli’s request. Thank you both for contributing, and for your patience with having to work around the limitation.

    @wenqvip, your example was very helpful—thank you, and thanks to @CaptBli for suggesting frozen columns too. Both are included in CSV 1.4.2, with the choices remembered per file. I’m sorry this took so long. If you get a chance to try the update, I’d really appreciate an honest review. No pressure, and thank you again.
