Termoid widget crashes plasma.

I have a 1 week old installation of Fedora KDE 29. I installed the Termoid widget. Upon adding the widget, it asked me to install qmltermwidget. After installing qmltermwidget (sudo dnf install qmltermwidget), whenever I add Termoid widget from the Add Widget sidebar, Plasma crashes and recovers a few seconds later.

Operating System: Linux 4.19.12-301.fc29.x86_64 x86_64
Distribution: "Fedora release 29 (Twenty Nine)"

The crash can be reproduced every time.

Thanks for reporting the bug.
There has been a new release for qmltermwidget recently that I was unaware of. I will try to test and fix against the new version.
Meanwhile, Please try uninstalling the qmltermwidget(version 0.2.0) and installing the previous version.

+1 Same issue on Kubuntu 18.04. qmltermwidget 2 crashes and qmltermwidget 1 has 'Cannot assign to non-existent property "shellProgramArgs"' after building.

Please try the latest version v0.3 with keyboard support. https://store.kde.org/p/1169451/

Please also make sure you are using the older qmltermwidget - 0.1.0 release or Commit 08958f7 which is known to work.

You might need to restart plasmashell or reboot for the plasmoid to work.
sudo killall plasmashell && kstart5 plasmashell.

Still debugging on the crash issue with no solutions so far.

Hi @ShayBox, I almost completed the changes required to make it work by packaging an aliased build of qmltermwidget with the plasmoid itself. But, couldn't complete as I was not able to figure out a build process with cross-distro compatibility. And then I got busy with work stuff.
You can refer to #17

Not sure what distro you are using, but you can try building it from source from the above branch. It should even work alongside other packages using qmltermwidget.
If you have any pointers for building cross-platform packages, I would be glad to complete the above changes.

so it's not fixed for me
