There was a problem hiding this comment.
apt-transport-httpsandgnupg2(Dockerfile L28/L34) were only there for the Docker apt repo /apt-key. Now that the repo is gone, can we drop them together withlsb-releaseandsoftware-properties-common?- Nit: the PR title says
1.26.19, should be1.26.10.

Thanks for the review @xmudrii . I will take a look at the comments shortly. This is the feedback I wanted while making the changes. |
Add the Kubernetes 1.38 Trixie variant and track its kube-cross dependency while retaining the existing Bullseye variants. Install Python packages in a virtual environment and use the static Docker 24 CLI for compatibility with both Debian versions. Add image tests for gcloud startup, compiled crcmod support in gsutil, and Docker CLI compatibility. Signed-off-by: Nabarun Pal <pal.nabarun95@gmail.com>

@xmudrii I have resolved the comments. Can you PTAL again? |

btw, we use docker v29 in CI. You can jump straight to it without problems |
I will raise this as a followup. Trying to get a release out with the latest Go patches. |
