Thoughts on sending the current main as a pre-release to crates.io yet?

That's the idea, we already have 1.0.0-rc.1 as the version in Cargo.toml. Do you need the pre-release for anything in particular?

I don't have publishing rights, and prefer not to have them since there already have been attempts at spear phishing against me.

I'm not coming to RustConf this year, but other people from the Linebender organization might.

I'm just close to releasing a library which uses fearless_simd, and wanted to release a pre release version of my own, but I've already switched to ::LEN, and use a horizontal reduce, and without a crates.io release, I can't point at it from my library on crates.io

But definitely not an urgent need
