Plugin
Bahasa Indonesia: IndoWebNovel
Severity
Wrong Formatting
Steps To Reproduce
- Download chapters from a novel using IndoWebNovel plugin
- Try to export the novel as EPUB
- Export fails with an XHTML parsing error
Expected Behavior
EPUB export should complete successfully with valid chapter content.
Actual Behavior
EPUB export fails with the error: "Downloaded chapter is not valid XHTML near byte 3416: Error parsing element attribute". This started happening after updating to plugin version 1.3.1 (previous update fixed the "empty chapter" issue, but seems to have introduced malformed HTML in the chapter content).
LNReader Version
2.1.4
Plugin Version
1.3.1
Android Version
13
Other Details
This happens across multiple novels using the IndoWebNovel plugin, not just one specific novel — indicating the issue is with the plugin's HTML output in general, not a single novel's content. This appears to be a regression introduced by the recent fix for the "empty chapter content" bug — the new HTML output may contain unescaped characters or improperly closed tags that break XHTML validation during EPUB export.
