Shell-based Switcher for Edimax Smartplug SP-1101W (at least)
Using this litle piece of software you can switch your Edimax Smartplug just using shell commands. E.g. if you have got an old WRT54GL running OpenWRT you can use this port to start peripherals plugged into the Edimax.
Copy edimax_switcher.cfg.template to edimax_switcher.cfg and edit it to your needs.
Start with ./edimax_switcher.sh -h
