Summary

Patch release for the progress, extract, and missing-archive fixes in #397.

• package.json is 9.5.3
• CHANGELOG.md moves the unreleased notes into 9.5.3 (2026-10-05)
• MIGRATION.md records the native behavior callers can observe

JavaScript call sites are unchanged. A native rebuild is required after install.

This is a patch, not a minor, so no new Announcements discussion file.

Publish

After this merges to master, tag that merge commit and push the tag. The tag commit must already be on master, and the tag must match package.json:

git tag v9.5.3 && git push origin v9.5.3

publish.yml then runs the interop gate, publishes react-native-zip-archive@9.5.3 to npm on the latest dist-tag, and opens the GitHub Release.

• npm run test:docs-sync
• Merge to master, then push tag v9.5.3
