First of, thank you once again for the great job you do with the XDMA tutorials.
In the past months I have improved from having no idea in XDMA to competely reworking it :D. You could find it on my repo
Your tutorials are still applicable to it, but I enforce strict access. Therefore would be no longer possible to use pwrite for AXI-Stream interfaces. In, addition I added a possibility to submit transfer over ioctl. This is primarily to circumvent 2 GB limit for read/write operations on Linux.
Perhaps you would be interested to try it yourself and adjust/expand your tutorials?

Great, I would appreciate your feedback. But beware of bugs as in any new freshly written code.
Another point. I have reworked the host bypass BAR implemetation, so the data can be now properly sent and recieved over it. It could be useful for small transfers, that require low and stable latency and works superficially similar to MM DMA. Would be nice to have an example for that as well.

I have created a Tutorial for my version of the driver that is derived from your tutorial. Perhaps you find something interesting for yourself.
I dropped recreating design with TCL, because I found it not helpful. I happen to have Vivado 2021.2 installed, just one version after 2021.1 you used to create examples, and I still couldn't run your scripts with doctoring them first, because of changes in Vivado object properties.
