Hi, I'm Max 👋

Junior full-stack developer from Austria. I build web apps with Java, Spring Boot, Vue and TypeScript.

I came into software development as a career changer through the Coders.Bay programme, and coding is what I want to do every day. Since finishing the programme I keep building my own projects, contribute to open source to learn from real codebases and code reviews, and I'm working towards the Oracle Java certification.

I'm looking for my first developer role and I'm open to positions anywhere in Austria.

Merged contributions to projects I didn't start:

  • LibreSign, digital signature platform: signer guidance for missing signature fields (#8373), store for compound signing policies (#8705)
  • pdf-elements: built the Playwright end-to-end test suite from scratch, including interaction tests, axe accessibility checks with fixes, and CI (#93, #94, #96, #97)
  • Alexandrie: file preview on public document pages (#764)

  • veggietracker-v2: mobile macro tracker. Describe a meal or snap a photo and Claude suggests the nutrients and flags non-vegetarian ingredients. Spring Boot, Vue, PostgreSQL, Anthropic API.
  • a11yforge: accessibility auto-fixer built as a team final project. It crawls a website, finds WCAG violations with Playwright and axe, proposes fixes and verifies them.
  • ams-crawler: job search app that scrapes the Austrian employment service with Playwright and shows new listings in a mobile web app.
  • saillog: mobile sailing logbook that records the route via GPS and pins log entries on a map. Ionic, Vue, Capacitor, Leaflet.
