Just to let you know that I write some experimental code in Leshan about support of coaps:// based on java-coap and bouncy castle.

Code is available at :

• Add coaps support based on java-coap and bouncy castle at client side eclipse-leshan/leshan#1713
• Add coaps support based on java-coap and bouncy castle at server side eclipse-leshan/leshan#1717

We could have transport part integration in this repo (BouncyCastleDtlsTransport).

Ideally it would be better.

Current implementation in Leshan repository depends on some Leshan code and is very experimental.

The lack of async API is maybe an issue for you ?

Blocking calls will not integrate well at least in server mode 🤔.
