…ocal The agent trial reports and the per-machine deploy notes are internal, so they are no longer in the public repository; .gitignore keeps them out. The files stay on disk. Every confined cargo build on the Mac failed: cargo canonicalizes the
synced copy, and the Seatbelt profile denied even a stat of ~/.local
and ~/.local/state, the folders between the closed home and the
peer-store ("could not canonicalize path", then no crates/*/Cargo.toml).
The profile now allows file-read-metadata on exactly those folders
(literal, never their contents), so realpath, pwd -P and globs work
while home stays unlisted. Linux is unaffected: Landlock does not
restrict a lookup.
The macOS CI job only ran clippy, so the profile had never run for
real. It now runs tests/confine_macos.rs, which drives the profile
under /usr/bin/sandbox-exec: the job resolves and globs its own
folder, while home, the folders above and a private file stay closed.
