- SCP-5263 is the office building of Shobi Printing Pte. Ltd., a company that was once recognized as the best printing company in Yokohama. During working hours, the building has a strange effect that makes everyone inside feel emotionally balanced, preventing strong feelings of joy or sadness, and generally regulating their mood and outlook on life. This effect makes employees react to both good and bad news with polite, muted responses, often saying "It cannot be helped." The effect wears off once people leave the building, but prolonged exposure can lead to tragic outcomes, as seen when one employee, after experiencing a personal tragedy and briefly breaking free of the effect, returned to the office and later committed suicide, leaving a note with the same phrase. The company's chairman, Mr. Myojo, is being held for questioning.

- Oklo is a geological region in Gabon where several natural nuclear fission reactors were discovered in uranium mines in 1972. These ancient reactors, active around 1.8 to 1.7 billion years ago, formed when the natural concentration of uranium-235 was high enough for criticality to be reached with natural water acting as a neutron moderator due to the specific geological arrangement of the uranium deposit. Scientists concluded that these deposits had undergone nuclear fission because the mined uranium had a lower-than-expected concentration of uranium-235 and contained typical reactor byproducts.
