A drag button should be added to resizable columns' headers & drag behavior should be added when a user clicks and drags with the button.
Design for column header drag buttons (design has the specific svg used here):
Behavior:
When a column is dragged using the column header drag button, the entire table should expand/collapse while other columns maintain their current widths (similar to google sheets, or a table chart in google docs). This likely will require that the table should be wrapped by an InnerScrollContainer similar to our sticky column feature to provide horizontal scrolling for the table.
No vertical divider between columns is required for now, but may want design weigh in as feature is developed.
Check compatibility with sticky columns (and the sticky border right and border left on the column) which will be used with this feature in OCP. Would be great if it works together, but resizable > sticky for priority.
Add option to persist resized columns: callback on resize to pass back the current width & option to set column widths as an override.
Note in the docs to encourage pagination with DataView to mitigate any performance impacts (resize can be expensive for complex + large tables).
Investigate lift to put this feature in base Table (DataView first as it is more flexible for releases/iteration and less disruptive).
