Pressing a continuous rubber profile into an enclosure channel. A force-regulation task with a tolerance spec and a force channel — which is precisely what the standard benchmark tasks lack.
Every frontier lab trains on cloth, kitchens, boxes and packing. None of those have a tolerance spec or a force channel. This one has both, and it showed up independently from two directions: the general assembly literature ("almost all gasket assembly today is performed by humans") and BESS pack assembly, where outdoor-rated enclosures must be sealed to an IP rating.
It is also not the task the field's numbers cover. Berkeley's gasket paper is essentially the only prior work, and its headline finding is that a procedural algorithm beat their learned policy on the straight channel. So the scripted presser here is the number to beat, not a placeholder.
