Integration examples use QUBRICS_*, X-Qubrics-* and qubrics_ tool aliases, with indefinite support for the legacy names. Newly emitted mail payloads carry both correlation fields; integrations must accept retained and queued bodies containing only sendmux_message_id.
Part of qubrics/qubrics#904 A17. Includes #897 lines 40,49: confirm qubrics/tap/sendmux and use github.com/qubrics/qubrics-sdk/releases. Emitted sendmux.test remains an explicit legacy compatibility exception.
App and Sending snapshots/Postman collections match source contracts now merged through app #915 (0292caf5) and SMTP #105 (d91bcfd0). Existing calendar DELETE, JSON etag/response ETag, webhook discriminator mappings and all Qubrics changes are retained. Neither OpenAPI input changes in this follow-up.
SDK source #345 at 491003792dd742cb2c83e4a09501abdf4f4458c9 supplies the final compatibility details: empty Qubrics settings use legacy fallbacks, existing PHP/Ruby upload calls and Go keyed token fields keep working, and Python webhook models preserve an omitted correlation field versus explicit null. The genuine consolidated changelog follow-up is 944a2a2c305dbdad5d687dbf0ee050556e9611e2, committed/pushed after that SDK commit and before its product push. Release dependencies remain explicit: protected MCP pin and release-facts snippet are unchanged until a compatible SDK/MCP publication is verified. Snap CLI 1.7.2's immutable producer has an old contract snapshot and needs an approved compatible CLI publication and exact producer binding. Changes: Qubrics naming and compatibility
Layer / File(s)
Summary
AI framework and MCP client setup guides ai-integrations/frameworks/*, ai-integrations/mcp/clients/*
Setup examples use Qubrics environment-variable and tool names. MCP install instructions upgrade sendmux-mcp and display a shared warning about version 2.0.0 attachment-tool input changes.
MCP reference and release documentation ai-integrations/mcp/index.mdx, changelog.mdx, evidence/*, snippets/mcp-upgrade-safety.mdx
The reference and changelog document Qubrics naming and retained Sendmux aliases. The evidence record describes scope, checks, and pending release steps.
CLI, SDK, and developer API guides developer-tools/*
CLI links, authentication examples, SDK credentials, and developer API requests use Qubrics names.
Webhook and application API contract openapi-app.json, webhooks/*, tests/webhook-verifier-example.test.mjs
The OpenAPI schema names mail and calendar payloads, adds nullable qubrics_message_id, and documents Qubrics headers. Webhook examples and verifier tests use Qubrics header names.
Sending API and references openapi-sending.json, postman/sendmux-sending.postman_collection.json, sending-api/*, sending/*
Upload references document the Qubrics upload-token header and Sendmux alias. Sending examples use Qubrics credentials, delivery-group headers, and MCP tool names.
Postman collections and documentation tests postman/sendmux-mailbox.postman_collection.json, postman/sendmux-management.postman_collection.json, tests/docs-accuracy.test.mjs, tests/executable-docs.test.mjs
Collection descriptions identify Qubrics, and the management collection documents both event-ID headers. Tests check the updated release URL and credential and upload-token examples.

Require an MCP version that supports these names.
The documented MCP 2.1.3 pin reads SENDMUX_*, not QUBRICS_*. An existing installation can remain at that version after the guides’ unversioned pip install, so these server examples fail even after the coordinated release. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
After the handoff, specify the first compatible version and an upgrade command across the framework guides.

Update the MCP installation instructions across the framework guides to require
the first verified version that supports the QUBRICS_API_KEY and
QUBRICS_MCP_HTTP_BEARER_TOKEN names, and include an upgrade command for existing
installations; establish the compatible version before documenting it rather
than assuming the current 2.1.3 pin supports these names.

@roshanjonah Understood. Keep the existing SDK pin and release-facts snippet unchanged until a compatible SDK/MCP publication is verified. The alias source in qubrics/qubrics-sdk#345 does not establish a published minimum version.
This finding remains open as a publication dependency. Before publishing these guides, verify that the released package supports QUBRICS_API_KEY and QUBRICS_MCP_HTTP_BEARER_TOKEN, then document the verified compatible version.

Document the minimum compatible MCP version and upgrade existing installations.
The guide uses QUBRICS_API_KEY and QUBRICS_MCP_HTTP_BEARER_TOKEN, but sendmux-mcp 2.1.3 reads the corresponding SENDMUX_ variables. The unversioned install command does not upgrade an existing installation. State the first compatible version and use an upgrade command in the client guides.

@roshanjonah Understood. Keep the existing SDK pin and release-facts snippet unchanged until compatible SDK/MCP publication is verified. Do not document an unverified minimum version.
The supplied guide already uses pip install --upgrade sendmux-mcp, so that part of the finding is addressed. Source alias support in qubrics/qubrics-sdk#345 does not establish published-package compatibility. Document the minimum MCP version for these examples.
The documented MCP version, 2.1.3, reads SENDMUX_API_KEY, not QUBRICS_API_KEY. With only the new variable set, this command fails to start. Plain pip install also leaves an existing installation in place. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
State the first supported version and provide an upgrade command. Tell users of older versions to retain the SENDMUX_* names.

Release dependency: the protected pin and release-facts snippet remain unchanged by Ops instruction until a compatible SDK/MCP version is published and verified. SDK alias source is in qubrics/qubrics-sdk#345. Publication is still held; no version is invented.

@roshanjonah Understood. The protected pin and release-facts snippet should remain unchanged until a compatible SDK/MCP version is published and verified. No version should be invented.
The supplied file already uses pip install --upgrade sendmux-mcp, so that part of the finding is addressed. The version-compatibility check remains a release dependency, not a request to change the protected pin now. Before documentation publication, verify that the released package supports the QUBRICS_* examples and document the verified version.
Keep inherited tenant credentials isolated, export Codex bearer tokens in both shells and scope message aliases to mail payloads. Regenerate OpenAPI and Postman from current source with explicit webhook discriminators and alternate upload-token auth. Preserve the verified MCP pin and release-facts snippet pending a compatible published release.
Includes #897 lines 40,49, preserving qubrics/tap/sendmux and github.com/qubrics/qubrics-sdk/releases.
Clarify newly emitted versus retained mail webhook payloads, equal upload-token headers and the approved webhook User-Agent. Put the source-documented MCP migration and rollback warning before every existing upgrade command without changing package pins or commands.
Product source commits are final: app9a70abe, SMTP20b3129, SDK722fbab. Part of qubrics/qubrics#904. Retains #897 lines 40,49 and all intentional Qubrics changes. No compatible SDK version is invented; verified publication remains a release dependency.

Use the established mailbox-key variable in the protected MCP example.
The surrounding client examples define QUBRICS_MBX_KEY, but this block reads the differently named QUBRICS_MAILBOX_KEY. If that variable is unset, the mailbox credential is empty and sendmux-mcp fails its key validation. Use the established variable or supply the mailbox key directly:

Fixed in 60dff8b. The outside-diff finding in review 5738257944 now uses QUBRICS_MBX_KEY in ai-integrations/mcp/index.mdx:220, matching the existing client setup export. This one-token correction leaves the protected SDK pin and release-facts snippet unchanged. Standards/Spec reviews and the final confidentiality, external-link and Mint checks passed.
