How to add device trees and modules?

I have https://github.com/LineageOS/android_kernel_xiaomi_sm8635 as main source
And this two additional sources
https://github.com/LineageOS/android_kernel_xiaomi_sm8635-devicetrees
https://github.com/LineageOS/android_kernel_xiaomi_sm8635-modules

I tried to find any information about it but no luck and ai just hallucinate. I'm not even sure if i need devicetrees and modules
