Summary

  • Branch filters — push triggers only on main to prevent duplicate CI runs for pull requests
  • Path filters — each workflow only triggers when its own component files or workflow file change
  • Concurrency control — superseded runs are automatically cancelled via cancel-in-progress
  • Node.js pinning — all Node.js jobs use actions/setup-node@v4 with node-version: 24
  • Local bundle-verifier — check-dist job now uses ./bundle-verifier instead of redhat-actions/common/bundle-verifier@v1, testing against current source rather than a published tag
  • Remove redundant lint — compile_test job no longer runs npm run lint since the dedicated lint job already covers it

Test plan

  • Verify all three workflows pass on this PR
  • Confirm only the action-io-generator workflow triggers (commit-data and bundle-verifier paths untouched)
  • Merge and verify push-to-main triggers work correctly

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Reduce unnecessary CI runs and modernize workflow configuration:
- Add branch filters (push only on main) to prevent duplicate runs for PRs
- Add path filters so each workflow only triggers for its own component
- Add concurrency groups to cancel superseded runs
- Pin Node.js 24 via actions/setup-node@v4
- Use local bundle-verifier (./bundle-verifier) instead of published @v1 tag
- Remove redundant lint step from compile_test job (covered by lint job)
