I'm a software engineer. I build large-scale platforms, from ads and CRM to AI agents, and lead the teams that run them.
I spent twelve years at NBT, from founding engineer to director of engineering. I built AdiSON, a B2B ad platform, and headed its engineering through the company's KOSDAQ listing. AdiSON is the largest rewarded-ad offerwall in Korea, with 45% market share and over 10 million monthly active users, and you'll find it inside Naver Webtoon, Naver Pay, KakaoTalk, Toss, and Baemin.
At Datarize I stood up the foundation platform that the rest of the system runs on, including the API gateway, identity, and core services. On top of it I built event-triggered and flow-based messaging for a new business line.
These days I'm applying what years of running large, real-time backends taught me to AI agents. The goal is easy to state and hard to get right: an interrupted run should pick up where it left off, and a failure should tell you why. In open source, I contribute to Apache Flink, primarily through its Flink Agents subproject, where I work on durable execution and model routing. I also work on GenAI instrumentation and semantic conventions in OpenTelemetry, and on the Java SDK and agent framework integrations (LangGraph, Google ADK) for Temporal.
I write essays in Korean, English and Japanese at Namsang Labs. A few of them:
- Why FastAPI's scoped_session Quietly Causes Broken Pipes
- ObservabilityCON 2026 Keynote, Grafana Has Started Opening PRs
- If It Was Good, It's Experience
If any of this overlaps with your work, let's grab a coffee. Reach me by email or on LinkedIn.
