Summary

Version 0.2.2. sqlalchemy-cloudflare-d1 0.4.1 fixes two limits this package passed on, so it is now the minimum.

  • pyproject.toml: sqlalchemy-cloudflare-d1>=0.4.1,<0.5 (was >=0.3.11), version 0.2.1 to 0.2.2.
  • poetry.lock: sqlalchemy-cloudflare-d1 0.4.0 to 0.4.1. Nothing else moved.
  • README.md: "Known limits" no longer lists columns with the same name (#31, fixed by #34) or statements without column names (#32, fixed by #33). The T in date and time values is still there.
  • CHANGELOG.md: new [0.2.2] entry, dated 2026-10-04, which also takes the README rework from [Unreleased]. Change the date if the release goes out on another day.

No code changes in this package.

Checked

  • Unit and integration tests on a real D1 database with sqlalchemy-cloudflare-d1 0.4.1, at the newest versions and at the lowest ones this branch allows (SQLAlchemy 2.0.0). ruff and mypy pass.
  • The upstream integration tests on 0.4.1 against the same database, 97 passed, among them the tests for #31 and #32 through the cursor, SQLAlchemy and the async engine.
  • Through Superset's D1 engine spec on 0.4.1: a query that starts with a comment returns its columns, and SELECT 1 AS id, 2 AS id gives 1 and 2.
  • The lock file hashes for 0.4.1 match PyPI. A trial build with Poetry 2.5.1 passes poetry check --lock and twine check, and the wheel requires sqlalchemy-cloudflare-d1 (>=0.4.1,<0.5).

Release

After the merge, push tag v0.2.2 on main and approve the pypi deployment in Actions.
