Motivation

Flipvo sells narrow, pay-per-call US verification data to AI agents over HTTP 402: contractor license verification across seven states and search across six, state business-entity lookup across five, IRS nonprofit status, OFAC sanctions and HHS-OIG exclusion screening, NPI verification (CMS NPPES), OSHA enforcement history, FMCSA motor-carrier authority, and drive-time routing. These are the checks an agent runs before it hires, pays, ships with, or donates to someone. No account or API key: every call pays over MPP.

POST /v1/ping ($0.001) is x402-only (no MPP challenge), so it is left out.

Validation (re-run 2026-10-04 on production v1.22.0): npx mppx@latest validate https://api.flipvo.com: 162 passed, 0 failed, 0 warnings, 13 skipped, without --yes (no mainnet payments). The 13 skips are the 12 payment steps (no wallet configured) and the x402-only /v1/ping.

Local checks on this branch: pnpm generate:discovery (138 services), pnpm check:types, vitest run schemas scripts/generate-discovery.test.ts (8977 passed), the pre-commit pnpm check and pnpm build all pass.

Key design considerations

• Integration: first-party
• Payment methods and intents: Tempo USDC (charge intent) on every listed route. Card (Stripe) is only offered at $0.50 and above, which no listed route reaches.
• Provider relationship: First-party. Flipvo, LLC owns and operates the service; MPP is served directly by api.flipvo.com (realm api.flipvo.com), not through a proxy.
• Directory fit: Production service on its public domain with per-route pricing, OpenAPI with x-payment-info, and an llms.txt for agents. No existing listing covers US contractor license verification/search, state business-entity lookup, or this set of compliance screens (OFAC, LEIE, OSHA, FMCSA, IRS exempt status).
