Hiding Player Locations from Bluemap/Dynmap prevents claim markers displaying

Hi me again :)

If I disable sending player locations in either of the map plugins it does not send claim markers to the minimap, despite them showing on the webserver.

Maplink needs to know which web map dimension to query for the markers. It does this bases on where the player is. If it can't find the player, it will use the mapping from the config file that maps from minecraft dimension to web map dimension (assuming it's a 1:1 mapping ...). But that requires, that the player was visible on the webmap in that dimension at least once, so it can store the mapping. If the player is never visible on the Bluemap, you have to manually create the mapping in the config file.

Ah okay that does help.
Running /maplink set_current_dimension_overwrite true
and then /maplink set_current_dimension world
shows the claim markers.
But I have to do this every time I rejoin the server.

I'm not too sure exactly which config you mean I need to change sorry

In the general config json you can add something like this to your server-entry:

"dimensionMapping": {
	"minecraft:overworld": [
		"world"
	],
	"minecraft:the_nether": [
		"world_nether"
	]
}

This example maps the minecraft:overworld dimension to the "world" web-map-dimension. Make sure to replace the names with the onces from your server.
Note however, that this only works with "invisibility-recovery" turned on and it will falsely map dimensions on a proxy network with multiple overworlds for example.
