Vibration doesn't work if the phone is locked

Hi! Thank you for the app, it's really amazing and something that I really needed and wanted to develop myself for a long time.

For some reason, however, app right now doesn't send a vibration at the end of a step if the phone is locked for some reason.
My phone is Redmi Note 9 Pro, perhaps this behavior is somehow caused by the MIUI. If so, it would really be helpful to have a documentation about how to make it work flawlessly (probably in this exact repository), like guys from Sleep For Android app did here.

Thank you so much for the app again, it's totally the best thing for stuff like physical training and morning routines.

Apparently, what I really needed to do is set up a notification step. Tried it now, seemed to have worked. If this issue with vibration on a timer step is still considered an issue by you, of course you're free to update the app. For that reason i'm not closing an issue for you to consider it

Redmi delays or loses vibrations during my test, and I have no idea how to resolve it with code or configuration in the system settings. Adding another reminder like Music or Screen may help, as you mentioned.

The app has a Whitelist Guideline in Help & Feedback. It provides a link to this website, although it seems not to help your problem.

I'll keep this issue open until a reliable solution is found.
