Summary

Syncs the SDK with the backend billing-audit branch (tinyhumansai/backend#1419).

  • Removes the Twilio, Apify, Recall calendar and meeting-bot clients and types (agent_integrations::twilio, recall_calendar, MascotsApi::join_meeting / list_meetings, JoinMeetingRequest, MeetingPlatform): the backend retires those routes.
  • Adds GET /openai/v1/threads/{threadId}/usage (from backend #1417) to the public route registry.
  • Blocks the new POST /webhooks/elevenlabs receiver at the raw transport (signature-authenticated; never callable from the SDK).
  • Documents the 900s cap on file-link lifetimes and the TwiML restrictions before the Twilio removal.

Testing

  • Spec dumped from the backend branch (npm run swagger) and synced with scripts/sync-openapi.mjs --input.
  • cargo fmt --all -- --check, cargo clippy --all-targets -- -D warnings, cargo test all green.
  • Route counts in tests/openapi_sync.rs and UNEXPOSED_ROUTES.len() updated with comments explaining each change.

Notes

Breaking for callers of the removed Twilio, Apify and meeting-bot methods. Merge together with the backend PR.

Register GET /openai/v1/threads/{threadId}/usage in the generated public
routes and refresh the backend API metadata, which raises the inference
operation count to seven.

…ed twilio url

Add doc comments noting the 900 second cap on file link lifetimes and the
TwiML elements rejected for inline twilio calls. The unused `url` field is
removed from `TwilioCallRequest` since inline TwiML is the only supported
way to supply call instructions.

The manifest sync test now expects 267 operations to account for the new
`GET /openai/v1/threads/{threadId}/usage` endpoint, with a comment
documenting the addition.

Drops the Recall.ai calendar, Twilio call, and mascot join-meeting/meeting-history

Adjust the OpenAPI sync and exclusion tests to match the backend's
current surface: the operation count drops to 256 after the Twilio,
Apify and Recall.ai meeting-bot routes were removed, while the excluded
webhook count rises to 13 with the new ElevenLabs post-call receiver.
Also drop an unused wiremock matcher import in the mascots tests.

Corrected the agentIntegrations capability list to mention Tenor, and
replaced the mascots render streams and meetings entries with manifests

📝 Walkthrough
📝 Walkthrough

Walkthrough

The SDK removes Apify, Recall Calendar, Twilio, and mascot meeting routes from its public API surface. It adds the OpenAI thread-usage route and ElevenLabs webhook exclusion, and updates the route inventory, documentation, and tests.

Changes

API surface and route inventory changes

Layer / File(s) Summary
Agent integration API removals
src/api/agent_integrations/*, src/api/agent_integration_types.rs, src/generated_public_routes.rs, api/tinyhumans.backend.json, tests/agent_integrations.rs, tests/agent_integration_module_layout.rs, AGENTS.md
The SDK removes Recall Calendar and Twilio modules, types, and methods. The route inventory also removes Apify routes and the Recall Calendar and Twilio routes. Related tests and integration references are updated.
Mascot meeting API removals
src/api/types.rs, src/api/mascots.rs, src/generated_public_routes.rs, api/tinyhumans.backend.json, tests/mascots.rs, docs/streaming.md
The SDK removes the mascot meeting request type and meeting methods. The route inventory, documentation, and tests no longer include mascot meeting operations.
Route inventory additions and synchronization
src/generated_public_routes.rs, api/tinyhumans.backend.json, tests/openapi_sync.rs, src/lib_exclusion_tests.rs, docs/api-surface.md
The public route inventory adds OpenAI thread usage, and the unexposed route inventory adds the ElevenLabs webhook. OpenAPI totals, examples, and route-count tests reflect the route changes.

Merge Risk: 🔵 Low · up to 603b3

The documentation intro still shows outdated route and method counts. Updating them before merge avoids confusion; no runtime behavior is affected.

Security Architecture Review

Security architecture risk: 🔵 Low · up to 603b3

The inspected SDK changes do not add credentials or authority, and the transport continues rejecting provider webhook receivers. The API removals are breaking changes. Backend authorization for thread-usage reads and coordinated deployment have not been verified.

Retained concerns
No architecture-level concerns identified.

Security review details

Security Blast Radius

  • inferred — The thread-usage inventory addition does not introduce a new SDK authority mechanism. A raw caller could already submit this ordinary path using its configured credentials. Whether a caller-controlled thread identifier can expose another tenant's billing data depends on backend ownership and authorization checks that are not supplied; cross-tenant exposure is not established.

Trust Boundaries and Controls

  • observed — POST /webhooks/elevenlabs is explicitly added to UNEXPOSED_ROUTES. JSON, multipart, raw-body, and byte request paths check exclusions before network transmission. Independently, the unchanged structural rule rejects webhook paths absent from PUBLIC_ROUTES, preserving the SDK-side separation between ordinary user requests and provider callbacks. This does not verify backend signature authentication.

Resilience and Maintainability Implications

  • observed — The tests continue asserting equality between the manifest and generated public routes, restrict public webhook paths to the existing core API, and require every listed excluded route to return RouteNotExposed. Updated counts preserve these assertions rather than replacing them. These are source-level safeguards against exposure drift; the tests were not executed during this assessment.

Hardening Proposals

  • proposed — For the coordinated backend release, obtain direct evidence that thread-usage reads enforce caller-to-thread ownership and that ElevenLabs callbacks validate provider signatures. Treat these as backend validation tasks, not vulnerabilities established by this SDK change.

  • Lane summary: This revision removes the retired Twilio, Recall Calendar, Apify and mascot meeting-bot surface, adds the thread-usage route, and blocks the ElevenLabs webhook receiver at the transport via the UNEXPOSED_ROUTES pin — both prior findings are addressed. • Lane summary: The PR removes the retired Twilio, Apify, Recall-calendar and meeting-bot clients together with their tests and registry entries, adds the thread-usage route, and excludes the ElevenLabs webhook receiver — the earlier ElevenLabs finding is fixed (it sits in the excluded set with the count pins updated), and the Twilio/Recall coverage finding is resolved by coherent removal alongside the retired routes. Retain coverage for Twilio and Recall Calendar exports

This replacement removes the assertions that split::recall_calendar::RecallCalendarStatus and split::twilio::TwilioCallRequest remain publicly available, and removes the flat-to-split alias check for TwilioCallRequest. Tenor is already checked in the named-type assertions above, so this adds little coverage while allowing regressions in the existing Twilio and Recall Calendar module layout to pass unnoticed. Restore the removed assertions and keep the Tenor alias check only if it is also required.

Exclude the ElevenLabs receiver from public routes

PUBLIC_ROUTES is documented as containing non-webhook routes, and the accompanying sync test explicitly classifies this endpoint as a provider-signed webhook receiver. Including it makes the raw SDK route surface treat provider traffic as a caller-invokable public route, contrary to the repository rule that webhook receivers must not be exposed. Remove this entry and keep it represented only in the excluded-webhook count.

Exclude the ElevenLabs receiver from public routes

This provider-signed webhook is still present in PUBLIC_ROUTES, while the adjacent sync test explicitly requires webhook receivers to be absent. The route therefore violates the public-route contract and causes the route-surface test to fail; remove it from the generated registry and keep it only in the excluded-webhook accounting.

Retain coverage for Twilio and Recall Calendar exports

Removing these assertions means this integration test no longer verifies that the Twilio and Recall Calendar provider modules remain reachable by their documented names. An accidental removal or rename of either export can now pass this layout test unnoticed, breaking consumers that rely on the split module surface. Keep the assertions if these exports remain part of the supported API, or add an explicit compatibility test if their removal is intentional.

Retain coverage for removed mascot meeting operations

This pull request deletes the only visible tests covering join_meeting and list_meetings, including their HTTP method, path, JSON body, and query-parameter assertions. That leaves regressions in those public client methods undetected; restore these tests or add equivalent coverage elsewhere before merging.

Retain coverage for Twilio and Recall Calendar exports

The Twilio claim is false in the current tree: there are no webhooks/twilio entries, and UNEXPOSED_ROUTES only gets exercised for routes that are actually present in the generated registry. Consequently, this test does not prevent a Twilio receiver from becoming reachable, despite the comment saying both receivers remain protected. Restore the retained Twilio route entries and add explicit identity assertions rather than relying only on the aggregate count.

Retain the removed Twilio and Recall routes

This change removes the Twilio call route and the five Recall Calendar routes from the SDK's public registry, breaking existing callers if those operations remain in the deployed Swagger contract. The reviewed files contain only an author-written comment claiming that the backend removed them; the deployed specification that the repository rules designate as authoritative was not available here to verify that claim. Confirm the deployed contract before deleting these routes, and restore them if they are still public.

Retain the removed Twilio and Recall routes

The Recall Calendar export is removed from the generated public registry along with its remaining routes. Any SDK caller using these existing operations will no longer be able to address them through the generated route surface unless the deployed contract has actually removed them; the reviewed files do not provide independent evidence of that removal.

Exclude the ElevenLabs receiver from public routes

The manifest now counts an additional excluded webhook, but the generated public-route registry still exposes POST /webhooks/elevenlabs. Because this provider-signature receiver is not bearer-authenticated, exposing it in the public SDK route registry violates the repository rule and can make an internal webhook endpoint callable through the SDK. Regenerate the public-route registry so the ElevenLabs receiver is absent as well as counted in the manifest.

Retain Twilio and Recall Calendar integration coverage

This edit removes Twilio from the documented agent-integration families, while the SDK still retains Twilio exports and route coverage. The same contract guidance also needs to preserve Recall Calendar coverage; keep these integrations represented so future synchronization work does not incorrectly remove or omit their public SDK surface.
