Expressive Language RAG

Expressive Language (.rag) — removed

The .rag declarative blueprint language and its crate, tinyagents-language, no longer exist on tinyagents main. They were removed in commit 70396946 ("Remove Rhai and declarative language surfaces"). The unused tinyagents-tracing crate was removed separately in 94eda345. This page is kept only so old links resolve; the lexer, parser, compiler, Blueprint and CapabilityResolver it used to describe are gone.

What to use instead

  • Build graphs in Rust. Construct a graph with GraphBuilder and run it with the Graph Runtime.
  • Export a graph's shape. tinyagents_graph::export projects a built or compiled graph to a GraphTopology, with to_json, from_json and to_mermaid helpers.
  • Refer to capabilities by name. CapabilityRegistry in the Registry registers models, tools, agent definitions and capability bundles under names, with aliases and diagnostics. Graph entries in the registry are name-only descriptors.
  • Describe agents declaratively. tinyagents-definition provides AgentDefinition (identity, preferred model, delegates, tool names) and the DefinitionRegistry trait; CapabilityRegistry implements that trait.
