### Host System
* A Linux host system (Debian, Ubuntu, Pop!_OS, or Fedora are supported out of the box).
* Windows does work with this but you must follow the directions below.
* A functional compiler and standard build tools (`gcc`, `make`, `git`).
* Network management tools (`iproute2`, `netcat`, `ping`).
* Python 3 and `pip` (to install the `jefferson` JFFS2 filesystem extractor).

* **dorssel**: Author of [usbipd-win](https://github.com/dorssel/usbipd-win), giving us an opportunity to use this exploit on Windows.

## Windows

To use this exploit on windows, you must use WSL. Open command prompt as an administrator and type "wsl --install -d Ubuntu". This will install the Ubuntu distro through WSL. Then, you can use "wsl -d Ubuntu" to use it. Open Powershell as an administrator and run "winget install usbipd" ONLY if you have winget. If not, install it from this page: [usbipd-win](https://github.com/dorssel/usbipd-win). Now, you can run "usbipd list" to list all devices connected to your computer. Find your dropcam and run "usbipd attach --wsl --busid YOURBUSID". Replace "YOURBUSID" with the busid of the Dropcam you want to use. For me (bruh1555), my Dropcam is listed as "Unknown Device". You can always disconnect all of your other devices and run the command again to find out which device is actually your Dropcam. Since we are using Ubuntu as our distro, we must break system packages to be able to use pip. I've already added the flag to pip inside the rooting script.
