I work on people development and culture at AfterShip - designing learning programs and helping teams grow is what I love most. I don't have an engineering background and can't write a single line of code, but with AI coding agents, I've been rebuilding my entire workflow: knowledge management, content production, program operations. Along the way I found the best way to teach people about AI is to build with it yourself.
🧩 INTJ (Architect) - which probably explains why I can't help turning everything into a system.
📦 ai-website-cloner-template - Clone any website with one command using AI coding agents
🧰 tried-and-true-ai - AI resources I've actually used and found helpful, curated from a non-technical background. Updated regularly
(More on the way - I'm turning the AI workflows I use daily into shareable templates.)
Distilling years of people-development and culture work into open knowledge bases - methodologies, templates, checklists. Whatever can be shared, will be. I also hope these notes help more people see what functional roles really do - work that's often invisible, yet just as professional.
(First one in the works - stay tuned.)
- Exploring AI across role boundaries - AI is blurring the lines between jobs, and I'm using it to learn the languages of other crafts - product, design, engineering - and build things that used to be "not my job"
- Learning in public - distilling daily practice into playbooks and templates, for non-technical professionals who want to truly change how they work with AI
- AI learning programs at work - sharings, events, and learning mechanisms that help non-engineers discover what coding agents can do for them
I rarely start from zero. I start on the shoulders of giants - other people's skills, templates and open-source books - make them my own, then test them on real projects.
| When a project needs it | When I have spare time | |
|---|---|---|
| Doing | Build for the real need, fill gaps when I get stuck | Take apart others' skills and templates, make my own versions |
| Understanding | Ask AI to explain the why before moving on | Skim glossaries and open-source books to know what's out there |
Most of my time is in the top-left: real projects pull the learning forward.
