What and why · 改了什么、为什么

The maintainer is presenting the project at a small Claude meetup and asked for an English page that carries the intro film, the project's story and its films, says that Claude wrote it, and comes with the words to say. After the first draft they asked for more motion, then a tech, liuli-glass look instead of warm clay and yellow, and their WeChat QR and email on the closing section.

  • docs/talk/index.html: one HTML file, no build step. It has ten full-screen sections:

    1. the title, over a canvas galaxy of the 31 style posters
    2. why the project exists (Opus 5.5's taste; engines render, nothing decided what to make)
    3. seven features, each with a small looping illustration, plus a live f(t) panel
    4. the architecture, with a highlight that moves through it step by step
    5. the intro film, with chapter buttons and light spilling from the picture
    6. four showcase films (hover to preview, click for sound), and a "What Claude sees" toggle that wipes each film over to its contact sheet
    7. the 31-style wall
    8. "Written by Claude": count-ups, a per-day PR chart and a ticker of every PR branch
    9. "In the wild": the Nobel explainer timeline
    10. getting started: the commands type themselves out; GitHub and WeChat QR codes and the email

Presenter tools: clicker and arrow keys, speaker notes (N), a five-minute timer (T), and a key list (?).

  • The films play from the local copies tools/fetch_media.sh writes, and stream from the media release otherwise.

  • The f(t) panel draws a Fourier square wave as a pure function of time. "Render it again, out of order" draws the frame on screen again, right after another frame, and compares every pixel.

  • docs/talk/README.md: setup, keys, the English script (about 300 words, about 4.5 minutes with the 1:43 film) and where every number comes from.

  • docs/talk/img/: five poster frames from the showcase films (36–376 KB each).

  • Two optional slots show up only when their files exist:

    • the WeChat QR (img/wechat.jpg, not committed: the image was only shared in chat)
    • a local film (media/nobel.mp4; docs/talk/media/ is now in .gitignore)
  • The Douyin and Bilibili links are empty href="" slots for the maintainer to fill.

  • The PR numbers (73 in nine days, 70 from claude/ branches, 3 from Dependabot, and the per-day counts) come from the repo's pull request list, read on 2026-10-09.

How it was verified · 怎么验证的

  • Headless Chromium (Playwright) at 1440×900, 1280×720, 1920×1080 and 390×844:
    • every section fits the viewport on the three desktop sizes
    • no horizontal scroll at any size
    • no page errors; the only console errors are the expected 404s for the optional local files
  • The f(t) check reports 0 of N pixels differ at t = 1.05 s and t = 10 s.
  • The GitHub QR decodes (OpenCV) to https://github.com/ZLHad/OpenVideoHarness.
  • The WeChat card was checked with a stand-in image, which was removed before the commit. Without the image, the card hides itself.
  • Video playback wasn't exercised: Playwright's Chromium has no H.264. The posters, the <source> fallback order and the "What Claude sees" wipe were checked.

The maintainer is presenting the project at a small Claude meetup and asked
for an English page that carries the intro film, the project's story and its
films, says that Claude wrote it, and comes with the words to say.

- docs/talk/index.html: ten full-screen sections (why, what it adds,
architecture, the intro film, the films, the style library, who wrote it,
how the author uses it, getting started), clicker and arrow-key navigation,
speaker notes (N), a five-minute timer (T). Films play from the local copies
tools/fetch_media.sh writes, else stream from the media release. A live f(t)
panel draws a Fourier square wave as a pure function of time and compares
a frame drawn again after another one, pixel by pixel.
- docs/talk/README.md: setup, keys, the English script (~300 words, about
4.5 minutes with the film) and the source of every number.
- img/: five poster frames from the showcase films. A WeChat QR
(img/wechat.jpg) and a local film (media/nobel.mp4, now ignored by git)
show up only when their files exist.

… page

GitHub's file view shows index.html as source. An empty .nojekyll lets Pages,
once the maintainer enables it on main, serve the repo's files as they are
(no Jekyll build), so the page is at
zlhad.github.io/OpenVideoHarness/docs/talk/ with its relative paths to
styles/ and showcase/ intact. docs/talk/README.md says how to enable it and
how to open the page locally for the talk.
