fix(agentic-engineering): account for first-line Bugbot requests - #607
A review request can disappear from the survey when a connector adds a footer, allowing another agent to request the same review again.
What
Recognize those live requests while preserving the existing request format and review safeguards. Publish a new plugin version so consumers can receive the correction.
The surveyor now recognizes the next exact-author comment whose first nonblank line names @cursor review, including comments with trailing text or connector-added footers. Commands below a disclosure line do not pair with or close the pending marker window. The emitted trigger remains the exact bare command. Plugin version declarations and the surveyor definition hash are updated for version 6.6.9.

Explanation
The title names the primary change: the agentic-engineering plugin now accounts for Bugbot review requests that have trailing text or connector-added footers on the first line. It follows Conventional Commits and matches the portfolio-surveyor pairing change, changelog entry, and linked issue #606.
Full details: Description check
Explanation
The description states the problem (a connector footer can make a live review request disappear from the survey, so another agent may request the same review again), the fix (recognize those live requests while keeping the request format and safeguards), and the plugin version bump. It relates directly to the changeset and the linked issue.
Full details: Out of Scope Changes check
Explanation
The changed files in the whole-PR summary are: the agentic-engineering agent definition (portfolio-surveyor.agent.md), the CHANGELOG, the plugin manifests and marketplace manifests (version 6.6.8 to 6.6.9), and provider-neutral.desired-state.json (definitionSha256 for portfolio-surveyor). Each one connects to #606: the agent definition implements the pairing fix, the version and changelog entries publish it, and the desired-state hash records the changed definition. No unrelated change appears in the summary. The mirrored marketplace entry under .github/plugin/ is the same version bump and follows the same release. Limitation: the diff could not be read, so line-level content was not checked; this verdict relies on the summary's file list.

Explanation
Scope: directly linked issue #606 (coding requirements only; monorepo#3955 consumption is a separate deployment follow-up and is not assessed here).
Met, based on the whole-PR change summary (the diff tool could not read blobs, so the head text was not read directly):
[#606] Surveyor pairing now accepts the next exact-author comment whose first nonblank line names the Bugbot command, including trailing text and connector footers. Summary: plugins/agentic-engineering/agents/portfolio-surveyor.agent.md.
[#606] A command below a disclosure line neither pairs nor closes the pending marker window; other-author comments remain ignored; the emitted trigger remains the exact bare command. Same file.
[#606] Plugin version bumped 6.6.8 to 6.6.9 in the marketplace and plugin manifests; CHANGELOG entry added; definitionSha256 updated for the portfolio-surveyor role in provider-neutral.desired-state.json. These address the version and cache-version acceptance items.
Not met:
[#606] Acceptance requires a focused regression that rejects a return to bare-only pairing and protects the authentication, head, and window boundaries. The whole-PR changed-file list contains no test file. The only related existing test, plugins/agentic-engineering/scripts/portfolio-surveyor-agent.test.sh, is not listed as changed, so no new regression is shown in this PR.
Uncertainty: the head text of the agent definition and the test file were not readable (the file read was truncated and the diff failed). The first-line wording and the boundary behavior rest on the change summary and are not confirmed against source. Validation of manifests, tests, and the installed package is a CI or release step and was not assessed.
Resolution
Add a focused regression test in the agentic-engineering script test suite (for example plugins/agentic-engineering/scripts/portfolio-surveyor-agent.test.sh). The test must: (1) require the first-line pairing rule, including trailing text and connector footers; (2) fail if bare-only pairing returns; (3) fail if a command below a disclosure line pairs or closes the marker window; (4) pin the exact-author, authenticated disclosure, and full-head marker requirements. Then re-run the test suite.

The clarified current head 3f4f2704d847e4008de8e84b65e88cb7ad9127cf has complete green CI (21 successful contexts, three intentional skips), a finding-free Codex review, and no unresolved review findings. The prior token-boundary finding was addressed; the broader prefix exclusion was refuted against the deployed conservative accounting rule.
A fresh native GitHub CLI installation pinned to that exact head independently matches all 31 skill bodies and 136 supporting files, with every installed provenance record bound to the source commit and directory tree. Manifest checks, all 434 manifest assertions, all 31 pinned skill-spec validations, version/changelog/digest checks, and the actual consumer marker/definition regressions pass. The regression first rejected the old bare-only wording, then passed on both supported Bash versions.
This proves source/package delivery and native skills installation. It does not claim that an already-running plugin process reloaded its definition. Deployment adoption remains separately tracked by devantler-tech/monorepo#3955.
