Superseded by the replacement Python dimup stack: #4042 → #4043 → #4044 → #4045 → #4046 → #4047. See the onboarding PRD for the current review map.
Adds read-only dimos doctor diagnostics for workspace dependencies, activation, editable package registration, and optional direnv. A lightweight console entry point dispatches doctor before importing the robotics CLI, so broken native dependencies can be reported instead of preventing diagnostics from starting.
Native/import checks execute in bounded subprocesses; doctor aggregates failures and returns nonzero for required failures. Direnv findings are advisory. The workspace creator uses these same checks before recording success. No robot networking, hardware checks, or automatic repairs are included.
Validation: 4 focused Python tests cover dependency-free dispatch, multiple failures, corrupt configuration, and subprocess failure/timeout handling. Ruff and focused Mypy passed. The final stack's contributor and SDK installations passed doctor locally.
