The npm_and_yarn bump changes package.json and package-lock.json, which the ReplaceRange validation environment pins, so the package-chain job refused the PR before compiling (package.json differs from the validation-environment lock). Same mechanical refresh as #355: the toolchain lock's package and lockfile hashes, the build lock's toolchainLockSha256, the three affected source-closure entries, and the closure digest, recomputed with the input list and algorithm in tests/assert-build-output.mjs. The same computation reproduces main's committed closure digest exactly. No source, compiler, runtime, or executable-subject identity changes; CI's package chain rebuilds through the public compiler and verifies every lock.
Merging #352 after #353 changed
package-lock.jsonwhile the ReplaceRange proof environment still pinned its previous bytes. The post-merge package-chain job correctly rejected that mismatch before compilation.Refresh the validation lock's package-lock hash and regenerate the build lock's toolchain and source-closure hashes. The executable package, executable subject, and verifier evidence identities remain unchanged.
Validation: the public package chain reproduced
package-lock.json differs from the validation-environment lockbefore the update. The complete public compiler/provider/runtime chain passed using Node 22.23.1, npm 10.9.8, Rust 1.96.0, and clean checkouts of the existing pinned Edict/Echo commits.node --test edict/replace-range/tests/proof-harness.spec.mjspassed all 12 adversarial checks.npm run qualityandgit diff --checkpassed.Documentation impact: none. This is a mechanical lock refresh with no source, runtime, format, dependency-version, or authority-policy change.
